For me, Paris signifies…

I am a fashion media major, and I am 19 years old. I adore writing about fashion, and I aim to work in fashion journalism or PR/Media. I have attended some fashion shows as a teenage fangirl. My favorite fashion houses are Guo Pei, Issey Miyake, Carolina Herrera, Prada, Khaite, Christian Dior, Céline, and Phillip Lim. I took my bichon frise, Bendel, to Paris when I was 17.
Paris is represented as the fashion capital in the film Yellow is Forbidden. It is what every couture designer looks up to. Every designer admires Paris. Paris is the heart of haute couture. Paris symbolizes the start of haute couture. Paris represents the final destination for Guo Pei as a fashion designer. It is what she has dreamt about since she was a child. Guo Pei has dreamed about her couture designs on Paris runway. Growing up, Guo Pei did not have access to haute couture. It was her dream to design clothes that could appear on a runway. She made her dream come true, and Paris symbolizes the tip of the pyramid every designer yearns for.
My mother and I had a wonderful time in Paris! I ventured to several art museums and hundreds of department stores. I walked around several Arrondissements.
I love French cuisine. People were incredibly kind to my dog! Lovely salespeople brought water and treats for my dog in the shops.
I speak French, so I didn't face any language barriers. It felt like a second home to me. The art and history I saw in Paris, lit a fire within me. I loved learning more about art and history.
Seeing the buildings, the paintings, and the couture was like seeing the magic unfold in front of me. Paris represents the integrity of fashion to me.
