Spring/Summer 2025 Inspo Moodboard

I recently created two Spring/Summer inspiration moodboards, utilizing colorful, bold looks from years past. I love being inspired by old magazines and thinking of new looks for this upcoming Spring. Each Spring, the major trends are florals, appliqué lace, crochet, mini dresses, cropped blazers, loose trousers, vivid pastel colors, baby pink, colorful stilettos, espadrilles, leather sandals, bubble dresses, chunky jewelry, enamel earrings, bangles, silk and satin, taffeta, ruffles, halterneck blouses, tie-back tops, silk shorts, vibrant stockings/socks, heeled loafers, strapless necklines, layered necklaces, and shorter hemlines. Fashion designers reinvent Spring/Summer looks by creating unique runway outfits consisting of never-before-seen combinations. Clothes have to be interesting and eye-catching on the runway. It needs to stand out and seem like it belongs in a museum. As the legendary stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele says, “Money doesn’t equal fashion.” She is famous for mix-matching pieces to create stunning looks that are highly recognizable across magazine spreads. Yves Saint Laurent once said “Fashion fades, style is eternal.” Style is something within a person. It cannot be replicated and must be original.
